Dialogue AI Terms of Service
The rules that apply when you use Dialogue AI, set out clearly and without legal fog.

1. Agreement to These Terms
By using Dialogue AI you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, please stop using the service.
2. Who May Use Dialogue AI
The service is for adults aged 18 or over who are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Nature of the Service
Dialogue AI provides conversations with fictional companions. Nothing said in a chat comes from a real person and no relationship with a real individual is created.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
5. Account Security
Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account. We may suspend access while a security concern is investigated.
6. Acceptable Use
Use Dialogue AI lawfully and respectfully. Do not use it to harass others, break the law or interfere with the service.
7. Prohibited Content
Do not submit content involving minors, non-consensual acts, threats, incitement to violence, or material that infringes another person's rights.
8. No Automated Access
Scraping, bulk downloading, reverse engineering and automated querying of Dialogue AI are not permitted without written permission.
9. Service Availability
We aim to keep Dialogue AI available continuously but maintenance, updates and technical faults may interrupt access without notice.
10. Changes to Features
Features may be added, altered or withdrawn as the service develops. We will give notice of significant changes where practical.
11. Fees and Optional Purchases
Core access is free. Where an optional paid feature exists, its price and terms are shown clearly before you confirm anything.
12. Billing and Renewal
Any recurring plan renews at the stated interval until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and access continues to the end of the paid period.
13. Refund Policy
Refund requests are considered on their merits and handled in line with the consumer protection law applying where you live.
14. Your Content
You keep ownership of the messages you write. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them so the service can function.
15. Our Intellectual Property
The Dialogue AI name, characters, imagery, text, layout and code belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.
16. Companion Imagery
All portraits shown on Dialogue AI are generated. They do not depict real people and must not be presented as photographs of real individuals.
17. No Professional Advice
Conversations are for company and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and must not replace a qualified professional.
18. Emergencies
Dialogue AI is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is at risk, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately.
19. Third Party Services
The service may rely on or link to third parties. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
20. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Dialogue AI Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
21. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, harms other users or exposes the service to legal risk.
22. Ending Your Use
You may stop using Dialogue AI and close your account at any time, for any reason, without penalty.
23. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free or suitable for any particular purpose.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of Dialogue AI.
25. Indemnity
You agree to cover reasonable losses we incur as a result of your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
26. Force Majeure
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including outages and natural events.
27. Assignment
We may transfer these terms as part of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation. Your rights under them are unaffected.
28. Severability
If any clause is found unenforceable the remaining clauses continue in full force.
29. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts there unless local law says otherwise.
